The Orchestra “Tropican Show” was founded by its director Hugo Fernández in 1994. Since then they have been classified by Colombian music experts as one of the best orchestras, nation and international wide. All this is due to their professionalism, performance, discipline and mostly for their excellent level of music.
The director Hugo Fernández, artistically known as “COPETIN”, has more than twelve years experience as a trumpet player involved in the recording of some of the most talented artist records like: Joe Arroyo, Fruko y Sus Tesos, Henry Fioll, Alejandro Martinez, Aura Cristina Geitner, Moisés Angulo, Amparo Sandino, La Misma Gente De Cali, Los Niches, Proyecto Omega and much more.
The Orchestra “Tropican Show” is formed by fourteen excellent musicians, most of them with lots of experience with phonograph recordings.
As part of their international proposal, master “COPETIN” and the orchestra “Tropican Show” have launched their North American tour presenting their live show accompanied by the musicians: Alci Acosta, Nelson Henriquez from Venezuela, Iván and their Bam Bam, Jairo Ruiz and Alex Torres, original singers of “Guayacán”. This project with no doubt will open a new page in the history of successes for this musical group.
